Students spend most of the mornings and afternoons in class however, they do have time when they can do extra -curricula activities. After their morning preps, students go for morning prayer to offer their lives and work of the day to God. Students themselves lead these activities with the help of their teachers.

After class, students are encouraged to enrol for sports such as football and volleyball. Plans are underway to develop basketball game. Besides sports, students are engaged in a number of activities that help them to relate to one another and society as a whole. A number of students, for example, are in the debating club. Locally, our school has made a name as excellent debaters. Recently, they were among the few schools that represented Toro region to the national competitions. While there, they debated to the satisfaction of the judges and were selected to go to South Africa in inter-continental debates.

Another activity that occupied students is the Laudato Si club. Laudato Si is the name of the encyclical of Pope Francis that promotes protection and conservation of the environment. Our students have planted trees, participated in talk shows to promote environment protection and have visited environmental sites for purposes of being educated but also of showcasing to the community what Should be protected.

Students also spend time in clubs such as scouting, Legion of Mary, Young Christian Association (YCS). In this way, our students enjoy every moment they are at school. Many of them see the school as their home

For meals, students are given varieties of foods. Mostly they are given posho but the school endeavours to give them special meals once every month. On special meals, they eat bananas with meat source. Once in a while, they are given sweet potatoes. On Sundays, students are given posho mixed with milk. Those who don’t take posho, are given milk. Sundays are always days that students look up to.

Once in a month, students are given an opportunity to lead Mass at the nearest Catholic Church centre. Both students and the community enjoy this. The community enjoys this day so much because the school gives them a lot of offertory gifts. On ordinary Sundays, the chaplain offers Mass for the students. Every evening after supper and before they go for preps, students spend time in praise worship. Many students irrespective of their domination, enjoy the singing and offering of prayers. Once in a while, prayer warriors are invited to pray for and with the students.

When a student gets sick, the matrons or patrons take charge with the help of the school nurse. In most cases, students are able to continue with their classes without disturbing their parents. The administrators make sure that the infirmary is stoked with medicines that can take care of the students

Once in a term, is the visitation Sunday. Parents, sponsors and relatives get an opportunity to visit the student. Usually, it’s this time of the term that parents make additional payments of fees. Parents also bring additional items for their students to use.
